Over the years that we have been running Naturlar, people have asked us a lot of questions about staying with us, what services we provide, what they can do, places to visit …So we have made up a short list of the things people most often ask. FAQ´S about rural accommodation
Is the accommodation accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, we have accommodation for people with reduced mobility. All our two-person apartments are fully adapted.
Are there sheets in the rural houses or do I need to bring my own?
There are sheets and blankets in the houses. All the beds and fold-out beds have bedding. You don’t need to bring anything.
And towels as well?
Yes, there are towels for everyone. The bathrooms in the rural houses have shower towels and hand towels.
Is the kitchen equipped?
All the kitchens are equipped with fridge, microwave, cooker and plates and cutlery you might need in your stay (cutlery, plates, glasses, pans,….)
Do the houses have fireplaces and barbecues?
Yes, they have shared barbecues and each apartment has its own fireplace.
Do I need to bring my coffee machine?
You don’t need to bring your own coffee machine. Each apartment has an Italian coffee-maker (which doesn’t need a filter paper).
We are bringing a baby. Do I need to bring a cot?
You can bring your own cot, or we can put a cot up in the bedroom. It’s free and comes with sheets, blanket and towel for your baby. Don’t forget to book it for your stay.
We are coming with the children
Fantastic! There is a fold-out bed in the one bedroom that the children can use (talk to us about it before booking). Also, we can recommend things to do and places to visit with children.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, your pet is welcome as long as you don’t leave it alone in the house. Remember to tell us you are bringing a pet when you book.
FAQ´S about the location of the houses
Where are Casa Farruco, Casa Don Benito, Casa Teillor, Casa Quintás and Casa do Cura?
The houses are placed in quieted, rural areas of Galicia. Casa Teillor and Casa Quintás are located just five minutes away from Melide (A Coruña), and 45 minutes from Santiago de Compostela. Casa Don Benito is placed in a small town called Arnego (Pontevedra), Casa do Cura is next to Portodemouros reservoir, between A Coruña and Pontevedra provinces. Casa Farruco is in Beigondo (A Coruña), really close to Portothemouros reservoir.
Are there places to eat in the local area?
We will give you a map of the area showing all the places we like to eat and enjoy local cuisine. We will tell you the things you must not miss in the area. It is a perfect place to enjoy a country holiday. You can get more information on the area and activities page on our website. Would you like an example? In the immediate area you can find museums, fortified houses, the Route of the Big Houses, Route of Camelias, etc….
Are there shops nearby?
Yes. There is a bar and a little shop right next to the house.
Can you find mushrooms or go fishing in the area?
The area is very rich in fungi and mushrooms, both in spring and in autumn. There is a place to fish very close to the house.
Are there walking, running, mountain bike, kayak, swimming, riding, etc… routes?
Of course! We will tell you all about them. The area round the houses is full of routes in good condition. There are also a lot of paths and places with panoramic views.
I want to do some sport during my holiday
The area round the man-made lake is fantastic for Sports Tourism and for training.
